The Bezengi Gorge is famous for its small but beautiful rocky outcrop, which has acquired the name "Troll Tongue". The popularity of the island among tourists is growing every year, and its name comes from a similar rock in Norway. The Balkarian ledge itself is small, but from a certain angle it looks very impressive in the photos, which attracts attention to it. In addition, the ledge offers a beautiful view of the surrounding mountains, the village of Bezengi and herds grazing in the meadows. In good weather, from a height you can see the alpine camp, where climbers usually train before serious ascents. All this makes the Bezengi Gorge one of the most picturesque places in Kabardino-Balkaria, attracting tourists from all over the world.
